Construction is progressing well on our Kensington Road project in Marryatville, where we’re delivering three‑storey residential lofts above two existing retail tenancies.
This development makes smart use of previously underutilised space behind the shops, adding high‑quality residential capacity without disrupting the established character of the streetscape. Flooding occurred in front of two garages at a residential unit complex in Kensington Gardens. Epic Projects was engaged to provide expert stormwater management advice to prevent future flooding. We completed the design plans and technical specifications, and also provided tendering, contract administration, project management, and construction supervision services to ensure the solution was delivered effectively. To resolve the problem, the existing pump was retained and improved the system by installing a new underground stormwater storage tank beneath the common driveway. The tank had a capacity of at least 5000 litres. A new pump was also installed, capable of delivering flows of at least 1.8 litres per second through the existing rising main. Additionally, the original drain grate was enlarged to 450 x 450 mm to reduce the risk of blockages. – 10 February 2026

Epic Projects recently completed an engineering review for an aluminium stage structure built for the Dougstock Music Festival held on the 5th and 6th December 2025 in Willunga. The engineering assessment identified the need for additional roof and wall bracing rods, along with an extra roof truss running across the shorter span. With these elements in place, all components met the required design criteria. – 6 February 2026

Epic Projects is proud to share the recent completion of the carpark layout, stormwater drainage and detention system design for the Smithfield & Elizabeth Funeral Homes redevelopment. This work formed a key part of a major site expansion and addressed significant issues with the existing carpark, which had been prone to flooding. Project Update! Epic Projects is excited to share that our work at the Yunta Fuel Station in South Australia is nearing completion, with the site on track to open by Christmas. We have been delivering the structural and architectural design services for a new truck parking area and adjoining retail shop, both key components of the overall fuel station development. We specialise in structural evaluations for insurance-related incidents, providing detailed reports on structural integrity, safety for access and potential hazards such as collapse risks. Our assessments also identify which building components can be salvaged during demolition or reconstruction. Burton Community Hub
Providing library services and learning spaces, the Burton Community Hub kicks off construction later this year, replacing the current community centre on Waterloo Corner Rd.
Valued at $6.25 million, the scope includes the construction of ‘The Shed’, which is an accessible facility for community members specifically with brain injuries/limitations, and the ‘Community Garden’.
Burton Operations Centre
Valued at $4.4 million, the operations centre upgrade will allow for a more efficient layout, improving traffic management, safety and the wellbeing of staff. It will enable a more flexible working environment, matching new mobile technology.

Redwing Farm Shed Conversion
We can’t get enough of the amazing before and after of this shed conversion at Redwing Farm, Moonta. We provided our structural engineering expertise and conducted a safety review to ensure the shearing shed turned function centre was structurally sound for use. The project included new bathroom facilities, which required engineering for wastewater disposal.

Clare Service Station Upgrade
This service station upgrade required the old structure to be demolished. This was a significant project as it required extensive architectural design, planning and drafting to completely redesign the site. The project included new concrete paving, civil works, a new canopy, and a pre-cast retail section, all with a modern design. It also involved meeting the environmental requirements of the EPA, as well as meeting council development requirements for a service station.

Subway Castle Plaza
Epic Projects assisted Subway Castle Plaza with all engineering and certification for their recent store upgrade. From the front sliding door and signage, through to the decorative internal structures and an overhead ceiling piece, safety and structural stability were at the forefront of the project, as well as maintaining a vibrant and modern store aesthetic.
